Nobody likes nasty surprises...
...that's why here at Plug Doctor we have a fixed pricing structure for our portable appliance testing so the price you see is the price you pay!
TIER 1:
£50.00
This is our minimum charge which is applicable to all visits
In this tier we will inspect and test upto 20 appliances
Any minor repairs such as fuse replacement or plug re-wiring is included free of charge.
TIER 2:
£2.00
per test
Tier 1 + £2.00 per test for between 21 - 100 tests
In this tier we will inspect and test upto 100 appliances
Any minor repairs such as fuse replacement or plug re-wiring is included free of charge.
TIER 3:
£1.50
per test
Tier 1 + £1.50 per test for 101 + tests
This tier's pricing is used when there is 101+ appliances to inspect and test
Any minor repairs such as fuse replacement or plug re-wiring is included free of charge.
Pricing Example:
To come and inspect and test 150 appliances:
Tier 1 (for the visit and first 20 appliances) + Tier 3 (@£1.50 per test for the remaining 130 tests = 130 x 1.50)
50.00 + 195.00 = £245.00
This equates to £1.63 per test including reports, certificate, stickers and where necessary any replacement fuses, plug rewires and any help in updating your equipment register

CHARGE
What's included in the price:
On inspection, should we discover the plug needs rewiring or the fuse replacing we will do this FREE of charge.
We are also happy to discuss our findings along with advising on how frequently to test each appliance with the dutyholder should they wish.
ADDITIONAL
CHARGES
Should you need a replacement plug we can supply and fit these for £2.00 each. We tend to carry these with us so should be able to do this on the day.
The prices shown above are for areas within 50 miles of Boston, Lincolnshire - we serve the whole of the U.K. but there will be an additional charge to allow for extra travel costs - please contact us to discuss your requirements where we will be happy to provide you with a free no obligation quotation.
